On login, you will be able to access the setup page. Connect your computer device to Nexxt Solutions router using Ethernet cable. In case of a WiFi connection, you would require a password. Then visit the IP address 192.168.0.1 or check your router’s manual for the default IP address. You will see a signup page, enter your username and password which by default are set as ‘guest’ for a few Nexxt Solutions routers. If you forgot the user details, you can reset the router using the press and hold a button using a clip. Now through the Nexxt solutions web browser interface, you are ready to modify the settings. You can also connect it with Google Assistant and/or Amazon Alexa for more control.
Kronos extender Browser setup
- Firstly, connect your Kronos extender to the power outlet.
- Next, you need to look for your Wi-Fi address which you wish to extend. Establish a connection with that Wi-Fi network.
- Now open the browser and type in re.nexxtsolutions.com.
- A page will open where you will be asked for the password. Enter ‘admin’ in the password field and press on the OK button.
- New window will open where you have to mention configuration details for the Kronos extender setup. Press on the ‘Open Scan’ button.
- Choose the Wi-Fi network you wish to extend from the list of various Wi-Fi networks.
- Your Wi-Fi network choice should reflect in the ‘Associated Root AP’ field.
- You are required to set the Security Mode manually, you can get this from your internet provider.
- Lastly, save the settings.

- Firstly make sure your Kronos extender is connected to PC and is powered ON.
- Visit http://192.168.0.254 or re.nexxtsolutions.com as doing this would take you to the setup webpage. Login on this webpage.
- Now under the Tools tab, you will find the Upgrade tab. There is an option to choose a file, now browse your firmware update file which you have downloaded from https://support.nexxtsolutions.com/006310-All-Routers-Firmware-Updates and upload it by using the Upgrade button.
- Open your browser and visit re.nexxtsolutions.com or http://192.168.0.254 and login.
- Moreover, choose the ‘repeater mode’ option so that your extender device can scan your wireless signal. Choose the wireless signal you want to repeat.
- You will be asked to enter the password of your choice and configuration of 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz SSID can be done here. Save the settings in the end.
How to reset Kronos extender?
When your Kronos is in repeater mode, press the “RESET” button on your Kronos extender for about 50 seconds. After the reset is completed, automatic connection should be established with the extender after you enter the password. Next open 192.168.0.1 on your browser. Now, login to the webpage by entering your username and password (‘admin’ for both).
